ML for Designers

The thesis aimed to enable designers to merge users’ needs with machine learning capabilities in the idea generation and problem framing phases. The presented solution is composed of ML knowledge shaped for designers (in a form of a poster) and 4 decks of cards explaining 6 ML tasks in 4 forms. They provided knowledge about ML capabilities, useful during the design of ML solutions in a UCD process. The tools were tested in a workshop with DID students receiving positive feedback.
