About the Bachelor Programme
The Bachelor of Science in Interaction Design prepares students to understand and design the interactions between people, technologies and their environments.
Students learn to investigate users and contexts, develop design concepts, and create and test digital and physical prototypes. The programme combines interaction design, user experience, programming, electronics, visual representation and critical studies through theoretical courses, design studios and workshops.

The Study Plan
The three-year programme progressively develops design knowledge, technical competence and critical awareness.
During the first year, students acquire the foundations of interaction design, programming, electronics, interface design and prototyping.
The second year expands these skills through user experience design, front-end development, data analysis, immersive technologies and sustainable interaction design.
During the third year, students address projects of greater complexity and consider the ethical, social and economic implications of interactive technologies. The programme concludes with a design workshop and a final project.
Types of Courses
The programme combines theoretical courses, design studios and intensive workshops.
Theoretical courses provide design, technological, humanistic and critical foundations. Studios guide students through complete project processes, while workshops offer concentrated opportunities to experiment with specific topics, methods and technologies.
Design Studios
Studios are central to the programme and allow students to apply knowledge through practical projects.
Across the three years, students progressively move from foundational exercises to more complex interactive products, services and systems, combining user research, concept development, prototyping and evaluation.
Elective Courses
Students personalise their study path by selecting elective courses from the offer of the School of Design.
Electives allow them to explore related design fields and complement the core competencies developed within the programme.
Design Workshop
The workshop involves students in an intensive design sprint addressing topics proposed by professors, companies or institutions.
Final Project
The final project allows students to bring together the knowledge and skills developed throughout the programme.
Students develop and present an interaction design project demonstrating their ability to connect research, design decisions, prototyping and critical reflection.
